Accessibility works at the Chermside Bowls Club
This past week I stopped by the Chermside Bowls Club to check on some works currently in progress that will improve accessibility for people with disability. Council has invested nearly $200 million into accessibility enhancements of facilities to achieve equitable inclusion of all residents in Brisbane.
Through these works, the Chermside Bowls Club is benefiting from more accessible parking bays, a drop off area, a lift at the main entrance, modified bar and meal counters, accessible and ambulant toilets, and a permanent access ramp to one of the bowling greens.
