More bushland in Chermside

In Brisbane City Council, Community, Community news, Environment, Local Parks, Marchant Ward, Nature

Council has just purchase 1.9 hectares of land at 17 Brentwick Street in Chermside. This section of land adjoins Packer Place and will be used for bushland/parkland. The acquisition of this area will fill a significant gap in the Downfall Creek ecological corridor and will extend existing parkland.

This park area has many native flora and fauna species, and we hope this extra bushland will further support ecological diversity in Chermside. This is great news!
