Special interest groups

If you’re wanting to join a social group and meet other like-minded people in 2019, I can highly recommend our libraries’ special interest groups. Both the Chermside Library and Grange Library offer a number of special interest groups that meet at least once a month.

The Chermside Library hosts the Chermside Book Club, the Sisters of Stitch Club for those who enjoy patchwork, quilting, tapestry, knitting, sewing or embroidery, as well as the Chermside Writers’ Group and Chermside English Conversation Group.

At the Grange Library, you can join the Grange Book Club or the Grange Library Knitters and Crocheters.

For more information on these groups and to find out when they meet each month, search the group’s name on the Council website –www.brisbane.qld.gov.au
